The Barbecue:
As always, the barbecue goes from 3PM till 8PM. Admission, $20. which gets you all you can eat/drink, including:
STEAKS, SHRIMP, CLAMS, burgers & dogs, draft beer, san gria, salads, chips, soda, etc.
50/50 raffles, prizes, etc.
A great bang for the buck.
The Musical Benefit:
Music starts INSIDE at 8PM until 1:30AM - NO COVER for the music, however, this is the fundraiser to help our friend Mouse to pay his legal bills.
If he goes bust, so does The Franklin. He has supported the local music scene for over 4 years now with the Wednesday night jam sessions, the first Friday with Charlie Jones, and the occasional gig by other bands. If you have EVER enjoyed the FREE music and FREE pizza at The Franklin, please come and give whatever you can afford. It's our turn to give back to an all around good guy who now needs some help.
The bands will be Kevin Kiley & The Out-Patients and Enzo & The Bakers. It will be non-stop music. I am certain that we will have guests joining us throughout the evening. A certain black female R&B singer who is originally from Detroit will be on hand, for sure. She won't miss these parties for nothin', and you shouldn't either.
If you can't attend, but wish to make a donation to help him pay his lawyers, you can send a check to the address below, to the attention of Robert D'Aries, and note that it is for the "Defense Fund".

I know, I know...VERY short notice. However, if you are a friend of The Mouse please join us this evening for a celebration of his legal woes coming to an end.
Kevin Kiley & The Out-Patients and Enzo & The Bakers will be playing in one configuration or another all evening, with special guests sitting in.
Keyboard players, there will be 2 rigs on the gig.
As always, no cover at the Franklin Tavern. The musicians will all be playing for free.
Although this is primarily a celebration and party, we will also be taking donations all evening to help the Mouse with his defense fund. Which is sizable.
Anyone who does NOT know his situation, we can fill you in tomorrow. But if you love him like we do, PLEASE come out and help with a VERY worthy cause. Mouse has helped with a home for the musicians every Wed. for over 4 years now. Now it's time to help him out.
Music will start at 9:30 and go until around 1:30.
